Job Description

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will contribute to the evolution of a mission‑critical MRI software platform built on a modern, microservices‑based architecture that supports the next generation of intelligent, connected MR workflows.

This role supports SIGNA™ One, our AI‑driven workflow platform designed to simplify MRI from planning and setup through scanning and beyond. SIGNA One delivers fast scans, effortless setup, and high clinical confidence through intelligent automation and a patient‑first experience.

In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software components within a defined area of the product. You will work closely with senior engineers and product partners to deliver high-quality features while building your technical capabilities and system understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in technical discussions and design sessions, contributing ideas within established direction

  • Assist in translating product requirements into technical solutions for assigned components

  • Develop working knowledge of assigned modules, including key dependencies and data flows

  • Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes following established architecture and coding standards

  • Support the implementation of interfaces and data exchange between modules based on defined designs

  • Apply standard testing practices, including unit and basic integration testing, to ensure code quality

  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve output and maintainability

  • Identify and resolve straightforward performance or reliability issues within owned components

  • Collaborate with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver on commitments

  • Document technical changes and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 2 years of software development experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Frontend development experience using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Experience developing software on Windows and Unix/Linux‑based systems

  • Proficiency with Java/JEE, Spring Boot/Spring, and Swagger/OpenAPI

  • Experience with development and CI/CD tools including BDD/Cucumber, Git, Artifactory, Gradle/Maven, Docker, and Jenkins
