What does a great .Net Developer do? Ultimately, a top-class .Net/App developer can design and build a streamlined application to company specifications that perfectly meet the needs of the user. How you will provide meaningful contributions:

• Participate in requirements analysis.

• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture to ensure application aligns with user needs and demands while also maintain integrity of InvestCloud vision

• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.

• Test and deploy applications and systems.

• Revise, update, refactor and debug code.

• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.

Basic Qualifications and Skills for Consideration:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant field.

• 4-9 years' experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer

• 5+ years' experience on development using .Net Core.

• Sound knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages preferably C#

• Strong understanding and hands on of Automated Unit Testing / Nunit / xUnit

• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

• Understanding of Agile methodologies

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions

• Analysis of Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and Problem-Solving skills.

• Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases mainly SQL Server and Oracle including writing complex queries and database design 

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / SVN

• Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to resolve issues.

• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Experience working with international and remote teams.

• Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 Web Application Security Risks have experience in adhering to the standards to avoiding those risks.

• Experience providing support in troubleshooting issues in live environments.

• Experience working with applications in the financial domain.

• Strong commitment towards quality and schedule.

• Experience working with BDD (Behavior Driven Development)

• Proven ability to work as an individual contributor and team player helping and mentoring other teams.

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders/clients ensuring protocols are not minimized

• Receives general guidance to plan, conduct, and establish a functional vision for assignments, reviews progress and evaluates results.
