What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable features across the recruiting marketplace platform.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the product's direction and technical framework.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs across the technology stack.
• Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Help improve engineering processes and tooling to enhance the overall developer experience.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2 to 7 years of hands-on software engineering experience in a professional setting.
• Proven track record of building and shipping production-grade software that impacts users.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to engineering challenges.
• Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for project outcomes.

Preferred

• Experience in product-focused engineering, particularly in delivering systems that engage real users.
• Familiarity with modern backend or full-stack technologies, including TypeScript, React, Postgres, and Python.
• Previous exposure to startup environments, particularly in Seed to Series B stages.
• Interest in the recruiting or marketplace sectors, with a growth mindset and eagerness to tackle scaling challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $130K to $250K, commensurate with experience. The company offers a collaborative and innovative environment where you can make a significant impact on the product and the team.
