What You Will Do

• Develop and ship features across the full medication access workflow, including prior authorization generation, appeals processing, and pharmacy navigation.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that scales within a complex insurance and pharmacy ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product, clinical, and operations teams to translate healthcare workflows into reliable software solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices as the product and team evolve.
• Enhance internal tooling, documentation, and development processes for improved efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2–15 years of experience building and shipping software in a professional engineering environment.
• Strong full-stack proficiency, with deep experience in Python, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, React, and TypeScript.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• A genuine interest in healthcare and patient advocacy, with a focus on creating impactful tools.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating ownership and initiative in problem-solving.

Preferred

• Experience building systems from scratch in a startup or product-driven environment.
• Familiarity with automating complex workflows or data-heavy business logic.
• Exposure to machine learning or AI integration within software solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role ranges from $150K to $225K, with a commitment to offering a competitive and equitable package that reflects your experience and the impact of the role.
