SCCI is currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our team! In this position you will provide support to the Surface Combat Systems Training Center (SCSTC) in the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of CAST Lessons for use aboard shipboard systems. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:
- Perform Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of the operator training lessons using Government furnished computer equipment
- Identify and provide content discrepancies to lesson originators and SCSTC for review and validation
- Participate in comment review adjudication meetings relating to CAST IV&V results
- Revise operator lessons through a Life-Cycle process when discrepancies are discovered
- Interface with customers, management, and employees
Essential Skills and

Experience:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of three (3) years of combat system shipboard experience onboard an AEGIS platform
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Have attention to detail, care about the quality of work, and a drive for results
- Must have organizational, task tracking, and follow up skills
Preferred Skills and

Experience:
- 3 years of experience utilizing multi-threat, multi-war force scenarios
