About the role
Rippling is building foundational AI Platform systems that will power AI capabilities across the company’s product ecosystem, including Payroll, Benefits, HR Products, Talent, Spend, IT, and Data Cloud.
As a Software Engineer II on the AI Platform team, you will work on backend and platform systems that support AI agents, automated workflows, evaluation systems, data pipelines, and model-quality feedback loops. This is a highly hands-on role where 70–80% coding is non-negotiable
This role is ideal for engineers who are strong in backend engineering, enjoy writing high-quality production code, and are excited to build in an AI-first platform environment.
