TITLE: Software DevOps Engineer
LOCATION: San Bruno, CA

Duration: 6 to 12+ Months



The Site reliability Engineer position will be responsible for hands-on development as well as lead the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce. SRE will be responsible for production availability and reliability, in support of the multi-platform roadmap.

SREs take responsibility for reliability and automation throughout the software lifecycle, with an emphasis on successfully deploying and monitoring releases and keeping software-defined infrastructure humming. The SRE has an integral function within the wider engineering team: ensuring there’s a specialist’s seat at the table focused on building stable systems.

Must Have Skills

·      5 years of IT industry experience with a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

·      Strong Software Engineering Principles

·      Product Company Experience Preferred

·      DevOps Experience

·      Public Cloud Experience (Microsoft Azure)

·      Container Concepts (Docker)

·      Orchestration (Kubernetes)

·      Source Control (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure Repos etc)

·      Continuous Integration ( Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, Bamboo etc)

·      Continuous Deployment (Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc)

·      Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Packer, Puppet, Ansible etc)

·      Scripting Experience (Python, Ruby, Bash, Shell, Node.js)

·      Security and Network awareness

·      Product Mindset

·      Learnability

·      Self Motivated

·      Experience in Agile methodologies

·      Experience working with global teams

·      Good communication & interpersonal skills
