Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and software engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll lead and develop a high-performing software development team, ensuring excellence in Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., architects, technical leaders, project managers), drive competence development through coaching and mentoring, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the long-term competitiveness of our software solutions.
We’ll look to you for:
Defining team goals, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring effective execution
Driving competence development, training plans, coaching, and mentoring of team members
Conducting performance evaluations, feedback, and recognition according to Alstom processes
Ensuring alignment between workload and capacity, including anticipation of future skills needs
Supporting project and program execution by overseeing planning, workload distribution, and reporting
Contributing to effort estimation, quotations, and validation of software activities
Supporting software architects and technical leaders in defining and implementing software architecture and design solutions

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline
Experience or understanding of software development and software engineering environments
Knowledge of software architecture and design solutions
Familiarity with software engineering processes, methods, and tools
Full professional proficiency in English
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
Ability to bridge management, delivery, and technical domains
Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
A continuous-improvement and collaboration-oriented attitude
