Job Description

Optimiza is in search of a dynamic Software Development Team Lead / Scrum Master to guide our development team in creating high-quality software solutions. In this dual role, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers while managing Agile processes to ensure project delivery aligns with business goals. Your leadership will empower the team to achieve greater productivity and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the software development team by mentoring, coaching, and providing guidance on best practices and software development methodologies.
• Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings.
• Coordinate and prioritize development tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
• Promote a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and rapid problem-solving.
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for the team.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in team processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies and software development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or Scrum Master role.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience implementing Agile practices in software teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar tools).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and project obstacles.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
