
The Ads Data Systems team builds systems that allow advertisers and agencies to ingest billions of behavioral signals every day, and powers a variety of customer solutions and applications. To enable advertisers to bring signals into Amazon Ads, we built Ads Data Manager — a privacy-preserving product offering advertisers an interface to onboard their data (advertiser signals) and securely reuse it across our ad products for targeting, measurement, and optimization strategies.
You will lead an agile engineering team in New York responsible for the Ads Data Manager product. Your team will have end-to-end ownership of business, technology, and operations, giving you the responsibility and autonomy to ensure success. Key job responsibilities
- Lead the Ads Data Manager engineering team with end-to-end responsibility across business, technology, software engineering, and operations
- Build and operate systems that meet remarkably high standards of performance and reliability at massive scale, 24x7
- Drive end-to-end delivery from business ideation through software engineering and operations
- Grow and develop a high-performance engineering team
- Invent, enhance, and build world-class systems that enable advertisers to securely onboard and leverage their data across Amazon Ads products
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
