We are searching for a dedicated Software Development Manager to join our team!

What will you do?


As Software Development Manager Finland you will lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers working across modern and legacy systems, building a high-performing engineering culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You will drive the maintenance and development of our data-driven products which enable better decision-making for businesses and consumers, while evolving a landscape that includes business-critical legacy platforms.

You balance innovation, technical debt, and operational stability while safeguarding data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.

This role combines people leadership, delivery responsibility and technology modernization in a highly data-centric environment.

You report to Head of IT Development and are a part of the leadership team within the development organization.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you bring a strong combination of leadership experience, technical understanding, and the ability to drive modern software development practices.

  • Leadership experience: A proven track record as a Software Development Manager or in a similar leadership role.

  • Technical background: Practical software development experience and a solid understanding of agile development methods.

  • Modern engineering practices: The ability to promote and embed best practices such as CI/CD, cloud, APIs, and microservices.

  • Data and compliance awareness: Experience in data-centric and regulated environments is highly valued.

  • Future-focused mindset: A strong interest in how AI can enhance software development is essential.

  • Business contribution: Experience with budget responsibility and contributing to product and platform roadmap planning.

  • You are fluent in Finnish and English.
