Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, testing, and maintenance ofGeoCodingsoftware services using Java

• Collaborate to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, along with comprehensive tests to ensure reliability and performance.

• Use CI/CD practices to build, test and deploy code changes.

• Participate in your team’s agile scrum sprints and ceremonies

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Contribute totroubleshooting, debugging, andoptimizingthe system.

• Support thedeployment ofsoftware updates andmaintenanceofsystem performance.

• Theroleinvolvesdaily(orregular) communicationwithpan-Canadian stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuingabachelor’sincomputerscience,softwareengineering, or a related field.

• Proficient inJava

• Knowledge ofadditionalprogramming languages, includingC#

• Experience with AWS or Azure is an asset.

• Strongunderstanding of data structures

• Experience designing and implementingrelationaldatabases

• Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
