CSG is expanding our teams in Brazil. These teams are responsible for delivering new features for CSG’s cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated their ability to build scalable, maintainable, enterprise-grade products as well as forward thinkers and technology enthusiasts who have a pragmatic approach to delivering high quality software.

We are looking for Software Development Engineer Lead who will:

  • Build highly available, scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems

  • Continuously improve assigned areas by applying scripting, automation, or application packaging

  • Resolve complex engineering problems

  • Support the platform in customer-facing environments, including troubleshooting issues and monitoring the system

  • Be willing to learn from and coach those around you

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork

  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, or other forms of team quality procedures

  • Be able to mentor and guide junior team members

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or technically related field, or equivalent professional experience

  • 8+ years of experience in software development and software support/maintenance

  • Experience in C#, .NET, SQL querying, schema design, Web Services, REST, xUnit, and ASP.NET Core

  • Serverless microservice architecture exposure (e.g. Fargate/Lambda)

  • Experience with cloud providers, such as Amazon Web Services

  • Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform preferred)

  • Relational and non-relational database experience (e.g. DynamoDB)

  • Experience integrating with external APIs

  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes

  • Proficiency with AI technologies and their application in software development

  • The ability to support on-call rotation
