The Role

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test II, with strong expertise in performance testing to ensure our enterprise applications meet scalability, reliability, and speed benchmarks. This role will focus on designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests across critical platforms, while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement performance test strategies for web, API, and mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
  • Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to validate system behavior under varying conditions.
  • Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build and maintain automated performance reporting dashboards for real-time insights.
  • Ensure compliance with performance SLAs and proactively monitor production performance trends.

What You’ll Bring

Must have:

  • Bachelor of Technology in related field and 3+ years of technical experience as an SDE/T or similar role
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of system architecture, APIs, and database performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and containerized deployments.
  • Experience in CI/CD integration and scripting (Python, Shell, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex performance metrics.
  • Nice to have:
  • Exposure to Service Virtualization and automated performance workflows.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana).
  • Experience Jenkins or other CICD tools.
