We are responsible for testing all the Products and
Technologies developed by enterprise application Engineering teams. We are knowledgeable about all enterprise applications services, products, and technologies. We focus on real-world, end-to-end testing to ensure all of Akamai's Systems integrate well. We work on automated testing infrastructure and systematic test case tracking to increase efficiency within SDET processes.

Ensure products deliver optimal performance and exceptional user experiences. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions to uphold software quality. Focus on improving frameworks, identifying defects, and enhancing reliability. Support scalable, efficient, and high-quality software aligned with organizational and user needs.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:

• Working with management and architects to shape test strategies to meet the business needs.
• Working with Business Analysts, developers and creating test plans and test cases for new requirements/change requests/projects.
• Driving and effectively execute the team's roadmap; dissect high- level requirements into quantifiable test plans and give accurate estimates.
• Designing and developing and execute test suites for diverse types of testing including database, API, integration, and performance with traceability.
• Designing And execute Integration testing across platforms and applications using techniques like python automation, batch processing, shell scripting etc.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold B. Tech or MCA (or equivalent) with 1-3 experience in QA. Showcase expertise in SDLC, QA processes, and methodologies.
• Gain practical expertise testing cloud ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., Oracle HCM, Oracle Financials, Salesforce) through functional, API, and integration validation.
• Develop and analyze advanced SQL queries while utilizing test management tools, including practical experience with platforms like JIRA or ALM.
• Demonstrate expertise in creating and enhancing automated testing frameworks using Python.
• Investigate issues via log analysis, root-cause debugging, and quality improvements. Utilize Jenkins, Git, and Unix/Linux commands effectively.
• Possess the ability to envision features comprehensively, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and exhibit outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
