As a Software Developer in Test at Everest, you'll be instrumental in building the testing infrastructure that ensures our next-generation ERP platform delivers exceptional quality and reliability. The goal isn’t to write tests, instead you'll be architecting intelligent testing systems that empower our development teams to ship faster with confidence. Working at the intersection of quality engineering and AI-driven development, you'll create sophisticated end-to-end testing systems that scale with our rapidly evolving product. Tasks

• Develop and maintain end-to-end testing infrastructure using Playwright and TypeScript, utilizing AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity
• Build and evolve testing frameworks and tools that empower developers across the company to write effective tests and validate their features
• Collaborate with product engineers, platform teams, and QA to define testing strategies and ensure seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Champion testing best practices and help shape a culture of quality across engineering teams

Requirements

• Strong TypeScript skills with experience building substantial projects and clean, maintainable automation code

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing, including complex user workflows and test framework development

• Working knowledge of Python (for scripting/automation) and Kubernetes (containerization, deployments, cloud environments)

• Enthusiastic about AI and eager to integrate AI-assisted tools into your testing workflow

• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building tools that empower other developers

• Optional: Experience building internal testing platforms, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), or infrastructure as code

• Optional: Knowledge of performance testing, load testing, or chaos engineering practices

• Optional: Background in full-stack development, AWS, or ERP/financial software systems
