Come help Amazon create and deploy impactful new technologies to deliver packages to the customer's door step!

Our team is seeking a talented Android SDE to build core delivery experiences in our driver app. The ideal candidate brings deep mobile development expertise and can deliver projects end-to-end from design to launch. As a SDE II team member, you'll own project success while mentoring others and elevating team standards. We're looking for someone passionate about improving drivers' daily experiences through exceptional technology.

Our technology innovations span the full spectrum: AI, ML and operations research-based routing algorithms, proprietary maps and navigation platforms, IoT and hardware solutions, doorstep
delivery experiences, and consumer-grade mobile apps that bring it all together.

Key job responsibilities
• 2+ years of programming experience in a mobile development environment using a modern language supported by Android such as Kotlin or Java
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design and data structures
• Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
