As a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Devices, you'll be part of teams building and innovating consumer technology at global scale. About the team
You'll join one of several high-impact teams working across the Amazon Devices ecosystem:

- Demand Planning and Forecasting: Build ML-powered forecasting systems and scalable solutions for global device inventory management
- Customer Shopping Experience: Create next-generation shopping experiences and personalization systems for Amazon Devices across platforms
- Device Services and Subscriptions: Develop subscription platforms, service integration frameworks, and real-time entitlement systems
- Photos and Media Services: Build consumer applications for Echo Show, Fire TV, and mobile platforms with cloud-based media processing
- Financial Systems Automation: Design high-throughput financial processing systems and automated reconciliation platforms

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
