This is a specialized, hands-on development role focused on mission-critical air domain sensor systems. You will work directly with ASIM (Air Situation Information Management) sensor systems, implementing engineering changes that address capability gaps identified by SHAPE.
Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of the SHAPE Gap Analysis Engineering Change Proposals (ECPS) against the internal ASIM Passive Sensor and ASIM Sensor Control
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Solid experience in SW development using C/C++ and experience with Git version control
Good understanding and application of software engineering best practices, testing, and documentation
Several years of Unix experience
Good teamworking skills
Desirable:
Experience in real time air domain application for Sensor / TDL / Flight plan
Understanding of (Radar) Interfaces, Network configuration, debugging troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewall, DNS, …)
