Job Description

Alexa Shopping team located in Bangalore is looking for an Software Development Engineer to deliver strategic goals for Shopping suite of products. This is an opportunity to join our mission to build tech solutions that delight Shopping customers. You will be responsible for building new system capabilities grounds up for strategic business initiatives. We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented Software Engineers who have experience building innovative, mission critical, high volume applications. You will have an enormous opportunity to make a large impact on the design and architecture of products used every day, by people you know. Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software, establish design principles, select design patterns and mentor junior team members

Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer II, you will design, manage and own technologies in Alexa Shopping programs space and. you will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define new product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
