Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer , you will play a crucial role in building robust and scalable software solutions for network management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

  • Engage in the full software development lifecycle for network management features, from analysis to testing.

  • Develop microservice components and integrate open-source software for NMS platform functionalities.

  • Collaborate with diverse teams through code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions.

  • Contribute to software architecture improvements and optimize development processes for scalable and robust solutions.

  • Ensure solutions are scalable and robust for optical/transport network operations.

  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation; troubleshoot defects and optimize NMS software performance.

  • Stay updated with and apply the latest AI-assisted software development techniques and tools.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of software engineering experience, preferably with EMS/NMS products.

  • Proficiency in Java, Angular, HTML, JavaScript, Python, and AI-assisted development techniques.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled editors like Cursor and GitHub Copilot.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, software engineering principles, and design patterns.

  • Experience with databases (SQL), REST APIs, and Unix/Linux environments.

  • Understanding of network technologies including Ethernet, IP, and DWDM

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
