As a Software Developer and OT Security, you actively design, develop, and implement functional data and software solutions while ensuring the secure operation of Industrial IT systems. You will collaborate with IT Logistics and cross-functional teams (controlling, manufacturing, and management) to identify data sources, define data collection strategies, and design scalable, secure data architectures aligned with corporate standards.

In addition, you will support and drive the implementation of Industrial IT Security (OT Security) practices, ensuring compliance with corporate directives and contributing to the secure operation of operational technology environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data-driven software solutions, integrating existing or new systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business requirements.

Ensure alignment with Industrial IT (OT) Security requirements aligning with IEC 62443 and ISO 27001, ensuring secure data handling and system interactions with logistics environments.

Build, validate, and manage analytical datasets and data models, ensuring data quality, integrity, and traceability across multiple systems and sources.

Perform rigorous data quality checks, cleanup, and ensure data lineage across large, complex datasets.

Maintain and enhance existing data workflows, ensuring continuous improvement of data processes and system reliability.

Ensure proper documentation, data governance, and adherence to software engineering best practices across all developed solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, engineering, operations) to ensure reliable and secure integration between IT and OT systems, including network segmentation, access control, and secure architectures.

Contribute to risk management, security assessments, and audit readiness activities, ensuring compliance with corporate cybersecurity directives and promoting OT security awareness.

Qualifications

  • Experience of cybersecurity principles, including risk management, access control, and secure system design (knowledge of ISO 27001 or IEC 62443)
  • Experience working in industrial or operational environments (manufacturing, logistics) or strong willingness to learn OT context.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data quality principles. (SQL oracle, MS Server, etc.)
  • Intermediate knowledge of networking concepts and system integration (e.g., data flows between systems, APIs, databases).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles and version control workflows.
  • Experience using: Angular 2+, Visual Studio, Visual FoxPro, SQL, JAVA, CSS, webservices, http/html, PHP, Python, node.JS, asp.net, object-oriented programming
  • Strong understanding of data visualization libraries and tools (e.g., D3.js, Highcharts).
