Job Tittle: Software Developer/Programmer
Location: Fort Huachuca, AZ
Required Clearance: TS/SCI
Required Certification: One or more of the following: Microsoft Azure Developer, AWS Developer, Google Cloud Developer, CIW Web Developer, Oracle JAVA SE, Linux Redhat, C++

  • Codes and assists in the design of software components, units and modules for client/customers.
  • Prepares comprehensive test plans.
  • Conducts tests.
  • Identifies and debugs simple problems.
  • Provides test results and recommends more complex corrections to senior developers.
  • Codes enhancements and supports features.
  • Writes product and user documentation.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of one or more platforms and operating systems, and of programming languages such as C and C++.
  • Typically requires knowledge of one or more systems architectures such as client /server and distributed processing. 

Education and Years of Experience


Typically has a Bachelor's degree, and 3 - 5 years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience; e.g., each year of work experience may be substituted for each year of education required

Required Skills

  • Ability to utilize skills in: Programming Scripted/interpreted languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Shell Script, Etc) Programming Complied languages (e.g., C/C++, Rust, Ada, etc.)
  • Development and implementation of software solutions: Programming specialists design and create software applications to meet business requirements.
  • Debug and test: Troubleshoot and test software to ensure it functions correctly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team: Work with other team members to coordinate and execute specific projects.
  • Provide program updates and reports: Provide regular updates and reports to management, helping to track the success of their programs. 

Preferred Skills


    Ability to Utilize:
  • Containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) 
  • Virtualization (eg., VMware, KVM)
  • Elastic Stack or Grafana Linux experience
  • Data analysis Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning implementation
