Job Description

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Software Developer with leadership potential, ready to take on a Team Leader role. This position is split into two main responsibilities: you will spend approximately 50% of your time working as a developer within your team, and the other 50% leading the team. As Team Leader, you will work closely with the Embedded Software Owner, who will provide prioritized features and support you with technical matters.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Team Leader:

  • Lead the daily work of the team.
  • Represent the team within the organization.
  • Keep the Jira board up to date and manage team progress.

As a Developer:

  • Work with HMI and bus-specific nodes IC3 and IC-gfx.
  • Develop based on Logic Design and Requirements from Systemweaver.
  • Conduct unit testing and fault tracing.
  • Communicate with interfaces across the organization.

Expected Profile:

  • A BSc or MSc degree in Electrical/Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience as a Team Leader or Scrum Master.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Strong programming experience in C, C++, and Python.
  • T-shaped mindset, with the ability or interest to learn new areas.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative, even within an experienced team.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience at AB Volvo, preferably Volvo Buses.
  • Familiarity with CANalyzer.
  • Experience with Jenkins and DaVinci for integration.
  • Knowledge of Qml.
  • Experience reading requirements in Systemweaver.
