Price Industries is seeking a talented and motivated student with experience in Angular (or similar frameworks) and modern web application architecture to join our team. The developer will collaborate with the Manager of Software Systems and the development team to design, implement, and maintain high-performance, scalable web application, while receiving mentorship and guidance to further develop software development skills.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, modular, performant, and scalable Angular applications.
• Collaborate with team members to design, implement, and test new features and enhancements in applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code and to learn from the feedback provided by senior team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects, working closely with the quality assurance team to maintain a high level of product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure software solutions align with business objectives.
• Work closely with a mentor to ensure code quality and adherence to company standards.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss problems, solutions, and project progress.
• Contribute to the improvement of existing processes by applying problem-solving skills and innovative solutions, such as creating tools to automate manual tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with RESTful APIs for web integration.
• Knowledge of software version control tools like Git.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with .NET / C# backend development
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience in cloud technologies (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
