The Nasdaq P&SE Tailored Clearing Solutions organization is expanding our technology center in Bengaluru. We are looking for a Software Developer Senior Specialist to join our Clearing Engineering development team.

Join the P&SE Tailored Clearing Solutions Organization Development Team within Nasdaq Marketplace Technology. It is a local team which means you will be part of a local development team, but you will also be part of an extensive network of Software Engineers working with our clearing systems across the globe.

Eqlipse Clearing product is a proven multi-asset clearing solution that combines exceptional performance with exceptional adaptability. It is designed to meet the task for high performance with low latency, control risk with sophisticated post-trade clearing workflows and risk management.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Software Developer Senior Specialist you will work in a multi-functional product engineering team with highly skilled Business Analysts, Software Engineers and Test Engineers.
Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Develop and craft new sophisticated functionality and maintain existing codebase in an environment handling large volumes of data and demands for high availability.
• Review functional business requirements.
• Work in an agile environment and participate in sprint planning sessions, daily stand ups and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with your scrum team and other customers to fulfill the team goals.
• Improve our processes to help growing efficiency.
• Support your team and our customers in their test activities including writing unit tests and automated end-to-end regression tests related to your developed functions.
  

We expect you to have :

• 12-14 years of experience as a Java Backend Developer
• Excellent experience & knowledge of Java (preferably 11 or above) and SQL & NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to building cloud solutions, distributed systems and different architectural patterns like event-driven, service-oriented and microservices
• Experience developing solutions using Design Patterns, java lambda & streams
• Experience with GIT, Unix, Maven/Gradle and Jira.
• Experience of message communication using REST, and any other messaging services such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Good knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms
• Good knowledge of system design concepts.
• Experience of spring boot, Google Guice or any other dependency injection framework.
• DevOps and CI/CD experience is a plus.
• You are a multi-skilled, solution-oriented teammate with a positive can-do attitude. You can work cross-functionally and internationally in a constantly evolving environment. In our work, things can change fast, so you are also flexible to changes in priorities.

Education Qualification: A Master or Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.

It would be great if you have

• Experience in the trading domain, the post-trade domain or the financial market
• Knowledge of scripting in Perl, Python, shell, or similar script languages.
• Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of Java Script and experience working with React.
