We are looking for passionate and driven individuals who are looking to upskill to become competent Software Developers. You will be provided a quick ramp-up training program with this exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing and developing innovative applications with the latest agentic systems engineering platforms for both internal and external clients.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to enterprise projects, and develop practical skills in delivering scalable digital solutions that enhance business processes and user experiences. As a Software Developer, you will be tasked with the following:

• Develop, test and deploy applications using the OutSystems platform;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product owners and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions;
• Maintain and optimize existing applications for performance, scalability and usability;
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, errors and bugs, ensuring seamless application functionality;
• Develop functional components, including screens, business logic and custom UI;
• Conduct thorough testing and documentation to ensure applications operate as intended;
• Provide recommendations and implement corrections to enhance applications across different teams;
• Participate as part of an agile project team responsible for delivering and maintaining high-quality applications;
• Define and/or extend the application's data model, ensuring proper referential integrity constraints;
• Develop features and components that align with User Experience (UX) goals and best practices;
• As part of the IMDA-CLT program, you will be required to attend a course for a stipulated period in order to obtain an official OutSystems certification.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or equivalent IT certifications.
• Around 5 to 8 years working experience, preferably with 1 to 2 years experience/self-study in programming/low-code platforms (certifications are advantageous but not compulsory);
• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, CSS, C# and .Net.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs);
• Understanding of full stack development and best practices in software development cycle.
• Basic proficiency in one of the Database languages (MSSQL, Oracle or others);
• Knowledge of web services (REST and SOAP);
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;

• Candidates that apply for this role are aware that they will be trainees eligible for the CLT-program under and must minimally be:
• Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR).
• Able to commit to completing the full training program.
• Able to meet the hiring requirements of the company.
