What you will be doing:

  • Assist with development in PHP, Python, Node.js, and perform backend database work.

  • Build and maintain APIs, specifically using FastAPI.

  • Debug issues, refactor code, improve performance, and write clean, readable, well-structured code.

  • Help implement new features based on requirements and occasionally research technical solutions, libraries, or best practices.

  • Clearly communicate progress and ask pertinent questions when necessary.

What our client is looking for:

  • Interest to work with PHP and/or Python, and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

  • Experience with Node.js and an understanding of REST APIs.

  • Comfortable using Git for version control.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Basic DevOps or deployment experience.

  • Familiarity with async programming and frameworks like FastAPI would be beneficial.
