SOFTWARE DEVELOPER II (MID-LEVEL)
Position Description:
Seeking a Software Developer II who independently develops, enhances, and maintains software components supporting cyberspace capabilities. This role translates requirements into effective technical solutions while ensuring quality, security, and maintainability.
Minimum/General Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of professional software development experience, or equivalent
- Experience supporting software projects through multiple lifecycle phases
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments preferred
Functional Responsibility:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software components
- Participate in requirements analysis, estimation, and risk identification
- Develop operational and procedural scripts
- Conduct unit and integration testing
- Apply secure coding practices and assist with vulnerability mitigation
- Support integration with enterprise common services
Requirements:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C, C++, or assembly)
- Experience using Git and modern development tools
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- DoD Manual 8140.03 (DoDM 8140.03) baseline certification required for the assigned role category
- Active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph required
- Onsite-only position requiring daily work in a secure facility
Location:

Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000
