Position: - Software Developer

Location: - Rashmi Group, Kharagpur

Reporting to: -Artificial Intelligence Manager

Industry: - Steel, Ductile Pipes, Infrastructure

Role type: - Full Time

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Trainee Software Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Trainee Software Developer, you will be provided with the opportunity to learn and contribute to the development of software solutions. You will be working closely with senior developers to improve your skills and knowledge in coding, debugging, and testing applications, all while gaining exposure to the latest technologies and development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in writing, testing, and maintaining code in various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
• Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and unit testing to ensure high-quality code.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of applications, web services, and databases.
• Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to the development lifecycle.
• Keep up to date with emerging trends in software development, tools, and technologies.
• Document code, processes, and development procedures for future reference.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL, MySQL, etc.) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and software development processes.
• Familiarity with frameworks and tools (e.g., React, Spring, Node.js, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or containerization technologies (Docker) is a plus.
• Previous internship experience in software development is a plus.
