Who we are:

EBG MedAustron is a cancer treatment and research centre in Wiener Neustadt that is unique in Austria. MedAustron uses ion therapy, an innovative form of radiation therapy, in the fight against cancer.

We offer a unique working environment built around the particle accelerator used for therapy and research with protons and carbon ions. We have set ourselves the goal of prolonging the lives of cancer patients and improving their quality of life.

As a Software Developer, you will play a central role in our specialised System Implementation Group and have the unique opportunity to develop software for particle accelerators. You will work in a meaningful environment where your expertise will contribute directly to the further development of our technology and ultimately to improving the quality of life of our patients.

Software Developer (f/m/x)

A job where you can make a difference:

• Further development of the Control System Software (in C#)
• Maintain and improve existing software packages
• Assist with completion and testing of large scale integration projects
• Support in C++ development

Skills that make you our strength:

• Completed academic studies (Bachelor or Master) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• First experience in developing software is an advantage
• Experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET
• Interest in learning in C++ and LabVIEW
• Experience in Angular, TypeScript
• Fluency in verbal and written English; German is an advantage
• Willingness to work on call
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Intercultural competence paired with a hands-on mentality
• You are a team player with an independent and structured approach to work

For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out that the minimum gross annual salary for this position is € 46,200 with a willingness to pay above the standard rate, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
