As a software engineer, you will be part of a team building the next generation of automation engineering software. Our goal is to leverage proven tools, technologies, and best practices from modern software development and bring them into the world of industrial automation.

You will join a highly motivated team contributing to an exciting and challenging area of debugger development for the next generation automation ecosystem.

You’ll make an impact by

• Developing debugger and data transfer tools, as well as Visual Studio Code extensions, that power the next generation automation ecosystem.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining core software components, including the Structured Text Debugger, its user interface, and its integration with Siemens runtime systems.
• Validating solutions in close collaboration with customers from a wide range of industrial sectors.
• Working with modern technologies such as C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript and package management systems such as NPM and NuGet.
• Collaborating with international, cross functional teams on topics ranging from cloud platforms to compiler and firmware technologies.
