Kardium’s mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients!
As a member of the Configuration Management Team, you will be involved in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software used in a range of functions from product design to and lifecycle management to supply chain and quality engineering.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:
• Developing advanced methods to monitor systems and analyze logs to alert administrators to issues before they become problems for users
• Designing and implementing internal software and custom reports to analyze data across multiple systems
• Writing scripts to automate transformation of data to improve consistency and quality
• Use of AI prompting to generate scripts and database queries
• Enhancing and extending existing Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management systems using their APIs
• Participate in the gathering of user stories and requirements across teams.
• Authoring and executing manual and automated test plans
• Performing software validation and deployment of changes in a regulated environment

Technical:
• Object-oriented programming skills, preferably with Java or C#
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Experience with source repositories, preferably with Git
The following factors are preferred and could help increase suitability for the role:
• Experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server
• Experience with test-driven development and unit testing frameworks
• Experience developing web-apps or desktop apps
• Experience with common web development languages, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Proven ability to learn and use third party APIs and libraries
