Requirements Software Development Candidate Requirements M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics or Engineering from a reputable university (Computer Science degrees are not preferred). Strong mathematical background, with proven experience developing and implementing complex numerical algorithms. Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience using C++ . Demonstrated ability to work on medium-scale scientific, engineering, or simulation software projects. Fluent in both Russian and English , with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively within the GMT time zone . Preferred Qualifications Experience in Petroleum Engineering or in the development of software applications for the oil and gas industry . Familiarity with optimization techniques and physics-based modeling. Experience with modern C++ standards, software architecture, and engineering best practices. Experience with Java.
