About the opportunity

Join our innovative Test System Development team, a vital part of our R&D organization. We are responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge test systems used globally in R&D and Production. These systems are crucial in delivering state-of-the-art products. We are looking to bolster our team with a software developer who thrives in a Lean and Agile environment. Our cross-functional development teams focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain our globally used software for test systems in C#, including controlling high-frequency measuring devices via GPIB, LAN, and USB, and storing measurement results in databases for future evaluations.
• Develop new software to interface with emerging test hardware
• Continuously analyze requirements and perform necessary adjustments
• Drive product and process improvements
• Design and oversee the architecture of complex software for test systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for the software development process
• Drive interface requirements and definitions to other software components from other departments

You will bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related qualification
• Proficiency in C# programming languages, knowledge in C++ would be beneficial
• Expertise in software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices
• Experience with DevOps practices, pipeline handling, and continuous integration/continuous testing (CI/CD)
• Basic understanding of radio frequency technology is a plus
• Team collaboration skills, with high social competence
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and time management abilities
• Structured, result-oriented work approach
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Proficiency in written and spoken German
