, Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Build and maintain HTML/CSS/JS widgets for iCUE-connected displays: Xeneon Edge (main focus!), Pump LCD Modules, and keyboard LCD.
• Triage and fix bugs in widgets already in production, working from user reports and QA findings.
• Maintain internal documentation, templates, and reusable components to speed up future widget development.
• Review third-party and community-submitted widgets for stability, security, and quality before Marketplace approval.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to widget submitters and track review turnaround times.
Essential Skills and Experience:
• 3+ years of professional experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
• Strong grasp of responsive layout techniques (Flexbox, CSS custom properties, aspect-ratio media queries) applied to fixed-size, non-browser display surfaces.
• Solid front-end security fundamentals: XSS prevention, safe DOM manipulation, avoiding dynamic script injection, HTTPS-only networking.
• Ability to apply a written technical spec/checklist consistently and communicate review findings clearly and constructively.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to switch between building features and reviewing other developers' submissions
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG contrast ratios, motion/flash sensitivity).
• Background in QA, code review, or marketplace/plugin-store moderation.
