As a Software Engineer Developer at Bradken, you'll primarily design and maintain digital product solutions for our customers. Your role will involve key responsibilities such as triaging support tickets, configuring new customer implementations, and maintaining existing system.

With your problem-solving skills, you'll be an adaptable and solution-focused Software Developer who excels in contributing to diverse projects. Your enthusiasm for resolving issues and managing data processes, along with a positive, can-do attitude, will define your success in this role.

With your proactive approach, you will handle system configurations to onboard new customers globally and ensure timely updates as their system usage evolves. You will also assist in the development, testing, and support of new applications within Bradken's digital product suite.

Your role will involve contributing to scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and task estimation, and ensuring that all system changes adhere to security policies, quality standards, and change management procedures.

With your meticulous attention to detail, you will safeguard organisational interests by ensuring all work protects Bradken’s intellectual property. You will also adhere to relevant Australian and international quality standards, along with Bradken’s internal specifications, standards, and procedures for software development.

You will be involved in creating training materials and documentation to support user adoption, administering change management processes to enable smooth transitions, and upholding cybersecurity best practices by identifying risks, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of secure development

Key Technical Criteria

  • A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT (with a focus on software development), or a related discipline is essential.
  • A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a corporate software development role.
  • Full-stack capability is highly desirable, with demonstrated experience in ASP.NET, JavaScript, C#, Python, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, .NET, or closely related technologies.
  • Proficient in agile methodologies and experience working within a DevOps environment.
  • Skilled in maintaining thorough documentation and records

Join our expanding Digital Operations Team in India and report directly to our Software Lead. As Software Developer - Digital Solutions, you will play a crucial role in the swift development of software products within Bradken’s Digital Solution project

This remote position is based in India.
