Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Applications division develops market leading EPM applications for the Cloud and On-premise. Cloud products include Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service, Financial Consolidation Cloud Service and Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Cloud. These products are used in many Fortune 500 companies for financial planning, consolidation of financial results and perform internal management report and external reporting. EPM is global development organization with presence at major development sites in US and India

Become part of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) development team. EDM is an in-memory platform for managing all your “Enterprise data” ranging from master data, reference data, mappings, taxonomies, dimensions and hierarchies. It is widely used by organizations as a center piece of their digital transformation to migrate to the cloud and for functions like corporate reorganizations, M&A and multi-system rationalization. EDM is a source and domain agnostic system that works with both Oracle and non-Oracle source systems.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will

• Design, Develop Java/JS source code to meet the requirements provided via functional and high-level technical design specifications in an agile development environment.
• Design, Develop, configure and maintain scalable AI and machine learning solutions, using LLMs and agent-based frameworks to solve real-world business problems.
• Build complex enhancements and resolve bugs for existing systems;
• Work collaboratively with other teams members to implement new features end to end.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming and patterns (OOD & OOP)
• Understanding of n-tier application development.
• Strong full stack developer (JAVA , REST API development, JS, HTML, CSS)
• Prior working knowledge of functional programming (Scala, Java 8+)
• Prior working knowledge of Machine Learning, AI, LLM, agentic frameworks, semantic search, conversational agents and MCP servers
• Knowledge of both client and server side test frameworks
• Knowledge of DBMS concepts and ORM tool (SQL)
• Design patterns

Desired Skills

• Prior experience working with scalable applications, performance tuning tools (Jprofiler Visual VM, SQL trace files) a plus.
• Domain knowledge or experience working with Financials, HCM or Customer management systems
• Working knowledge of messaging systems (Active MQ, RabbitMQ, etc) a plus
• Knowledge of Oracle JET/Knock Out a plus
• Knowledge of modern CI/CD tools (Jenkins, gradle, docker) etc a plus

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing AI/ML solutions, software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and/or supervise lower level personnel. BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MCA degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8+ years of software engineering or related experience.
