Database Test and Tools Development team part of Server Technologies division plays a significant role in ensuring the highest quality and timely release of Oracle Autonomous Database.

Database Test and Tools Development team is looking for bright and talented engineers from top-tier institutes to apply their ingenuity to test Oracle’s flagship product. It is an opportunity to demonstrate your skills as a Test Development Engineer for Oracle’s cloud-enabled platforms by developing cloud-enabled tests for various features in Database, Gen AI, Cloud services and Engineered systems.

AI Vector Search in Oracle Database 23ai: Oracle AI Vector Search is a novel capability that allows users to search data based on the semantics or meaning of data, in addition to by the values of data, such as attribute values or keywords, as databases have traditionally supported.The feature allows you to generate, store, index, and query vector embeddings along with other business data, using the full power of SQL.

Who do we need?
B.E/M.E/M.Tech./MS in Computer Science/IT/ECE/EEE from top-tier institutes

• 1 to 10 years of industry experience
• Development experience in C,C++, Python or Java
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals (Data Structures and Algorithms, Programming, Designing solutions, solving complex problems, Operating Systems)

Work with the latest technologies first-hand

What are the challenges?

Need to understand the complex set of features of Oracle database which has a huge customer base.

• Need to simulate using small applications for most common customer scenarios within a short product development life cycle.
• Your contribution has a direct influence on the success of many high-end customers.
  Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
  
  As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
  
  Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
