We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled SDE III – Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You’ll work on designing, building, and scaling backend services that power our products. As a senior individual contributor, you’ll take ownership of complex projects, influence technical strategy, and mentor junior engineers.
Focus area:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend services and APIs.
Own end-to-end execution of large technical projects, from design to deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Lead architectural discussions, propose technical solutions, and advocate for engineering best practices.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with comprehensive tests.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and design sessions.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
Stay current with backend technologies, tools, and trends, and share knowledge across the team
Profile:
7+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
Experience building and maintaining distributed, scalable, high-performance systems.
Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Good to have:
Passion for working in a startup: comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration.
Prior work in early-stage or hyper-growth startups.
