Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.36345)

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a software developer-related occupation. Position requires:

• Experience in software development using Java;
• Experience in CAP theorem, consensus, and replication;
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs;
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of software applications;
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure, including databases, networks, and compute systems;
• Experience in database design, data modeling, and query optimization for SQL and NoSQL systems;
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform and CloudFormation;
• Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices;
• Experience with cloud security principles, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance best practices.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $153,493 to $158,999 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and/or equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
