The Software Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing of the User experience for Achev’s technical solutions. They will participate in the development of application project plans and contribute effectively to planning and control as needed. The Software will be a team player with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to communicate at all levels.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reporting to the Manager, IT Support Services, the Software Developer will be responsible for the following:

Develop, write and implement application program and procedures for applications and solutions

Write technical documentation; record applications/solutions delivered, test results achieved and approvals received in the provision of services to meet business goals

Participate in the testing, debugging and integration of accepted technological solutions

Manage the completion of task priorities and communicate status to management

Collaborate with other programmers on complex programming solutions as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently in post-secondary educcation

Python programming skills

Experience with SQL Database

Working knowledge of DevOps

Strong problem solving skills and eagerness to learn

Hourly rate: $22.00
