To be successful Software Designer , you should have experience with:
Must have knowledge of creating scalable, maintainable, and high‑performance software designs using industry‑aligned engineering methodologies
Must have strong proficiency in designing distributed systems, microservices, and API‑based architectures
Must have familiarity with system design frameworks and observability tools
Must have ability to create architecture diagrams (C4 model, sequence diagrams, class models)
Must have good understanding of cloud platforms (Openshift/AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Must have experience with modern programming languages (Java/Spring Boot, Angular JS, Node.js etc.) and secure coding standard
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Nice to have exposure to event‑driven architecture (Kafka, queues, streaming)
Nice to have experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and secure coding standards
Nice to have banking domain knowledge and working in control environment
Nice to have experience in performance improvement, Fine tuning of JVM type of work.
