The Software Solutions Group is the central nervous system of the Copper Solutions Business Unit (CSBU) within the Datacom & Specialty Solutions (DSS) division at Molex. SSG builds Python tools from the ground up for the design, manufacturing, and testing of high-speed electrical interconnects. Engineers on this team collaborate across the organization to deliver solutions that address challenges in every domain of the business. Our software designers own mature applications used in production facilities around the globe as well as stand-alone tools that solve specific engineering problems.
This Software Design Engineer will join that career path. The first assignment is Atlas, a desktop platform used to run robot-based 67GHz vector network analyzer (VNA) test processes and replace older site-specific VNA tools. This tester solution will drive the next generation of 224G data interconnects and beyond.
