In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing automated process control systems and driving innovation. Responsibilities:

  • Participation in and leadership of debugging, pilot operation, and phased implementation of the automated process control system (APCS) hardware suite;

  • Preparation of draft methodological materials, instructions, and other technical documentation related to the creation and use of the APCS information management system (IPCS) resources;

  • Investigation of the causes of system failures and malfunctions, development and implementation of proposals for their elimination and prevention, and improvement of the APCS quality and reliability;

  • Interaction with support line staff to promptly resolve user issues;

  • Register requests for troubleshooting technical and functional failures;

  • Development of training materials and user training on current or new software functionality;

  • Creation and regular testing of a plan for restoring the functionality of the ICT system software and/or its components after failures;

  • Testing and validation of software functionality modifications;

  • Configuring and monitoring user access rights to software;

  • Regularly updating workstation operating systems, information security tools, and shared network devices, backing up software and operating systems;

  • Monitoring user workstations, removing viruses, and configuring system information security;

  • Installing antivirus software and identifying information security threats on workstations.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary ranges from 163,000 to 196,000 rubles per month before taxes. The final amount will be determined based on interviews and your experience and competencies.

  • 5/2 work schedule, Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Job Qualifications

  • Higher education

  • More than 1 year of experience in a similar position;

  • Experience in IT is a plus, especially in local area network maintenance and/or technical support.

  • Understanding the principles of building local area networks and data transfer protocols (TCP/IP protocol stack, etc.), and configuring computers for work;

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, ability to install and configure the operating system and application software; knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering and computer technology;

  • Understanding of the principles of computer and network security, web application security;

  • Knowledge of the operating principles of security tools;

  • Computer skills: knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), office equipment skills (fax, scanner, multifunction printer), internet and browser proficiency;

  • Personal qualities: Diligence, customer focus, responsibility, communication skills, punctuality, multitasking, teamwork, proactive, willing to learn, and attentive."
