We are currently seeking a Software Asset Mgmt. Senior Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Software Asset Management services and act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.
  • Develop and drive the Asset Management strategy, roadmap, governance framework, and service maturity initiatives.
  • Manage software license lifecycle activities including inventory, entitlement management, compliance assessments, optimization, and reporting.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders and provide strategic guidance on software licensing and asset management best practices.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the client's Software Asset Management ecosystem, including licensing processes, governance, and operational workflows.
  • Analyze software contracts and licensing terms for major publishers including Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, Adobe, VMware, and others.
  • Lead software audit engagements, including planning, compliance analysis, stakeholder coordination, risk mitigation, and remediation activities.
  • Identify software optimization, re-harvesting, and cost avoidance opportunities to maximize value from software investments.
  • Monitor industry trends, publisher licensing changes, and emerging technologies, and provide recommendations to clients on potential impacts and opportunities.
  • Advise clients on software licensing strategies, cloud licensing models, contract renewals, SaaS adoption, and software investment decisions.
  • Develop executive dashboards, compliance reports, optimization recommendations, and business reviews.
  • Collaborate with procurement, vendor management, infrastructure, application, and finance teams to support software governance initiatives.
  • Mentor team members and provide guidance on licensing, compliance, optimization, and SAM best practices.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Software Asset Management, Licensing, or IT Asset Management.
  • Strong knowledge of software licensing models and software contract management.
  • Deep understanding of major software publishers including Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, Adobe, VMware, and others.
  • Experience leading software audits and compliance engagements.
  • Strong customer-facing, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced reporting, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferences:

  • Degree in a technical or business field.
  • CSAM or equivalent industry certification.
  • Experience with Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow SAM, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in managed services environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud licensing models and SaaS optimization practices.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or analytics platforms.
