The Transmission Control (TC) department within Powertrain Solutions (PS) develops cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and driving comfort in modern vehicles. Our Budapest location holds full end-to-end responsibility across hardware, software, and mechanical development for transmission control units serving a global customer base.
Your tasks:
► Design and develop sophisticated system architectures for transmission and suspension control units
► Define and maintain software architecture in line with industry standards (AUTOSAR, ASPICE, Functional Safety)
► Create customer-specific software solutions for automotive applications
► Derive software requirements, drivers, and quality goals from system-level concepts
► Identify technical constraints and support project feasibility decisions
► Make architectural decisions and ensure proper documentation and communication
► Collaborate with international and cross-functional development teams
► Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field
► Strong experience in software architecture design
► Solid programming skills in C/C++ and experience with MATLAB/Simulink
► Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance
► Analytical mindset with structured and independent working style
► Ability to work effectively in an international environment
► Proficiency in English
