We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to join the IT Solutions department at Sigma Software and help shape the future of our internal digital ecosystem.

The IT Solutions department at Sigma Software is responsible for building and evolving internal digital ecosystems that support business operations globally. The department focuses on enterprise-grade business applications, automation solutions, integrations, and modern digital tools that improve operational efficiency and collaboration. The team continuously explores innovative technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities, to support company-wide digital transformation initiatives.

PROJECT

The project focuses on designing and evolving internal enterprise platforms and systems that support automation, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives across Sigma Software. The Software Architect will contribute to scalable and maintainable solutions for business operations while ensuring alignment between architecture strategy and organizational goals.

The environment includes multiple parallel initiatives with growing system complexity and increasing adoption of AI-assisted capabilities. The role combines strategic architecture ownership with hands-on technical leadership to help teams deliver reliable, scalable, and business-oriented solutions.

• Work with stakeholders and participate in solution discovery, initial design, and estimation
• Design scalable and maintainable architectures aligned with business goals
• Take ownership of key architectural decisions and ensure long-term sustainability
• Evaluate alternatives and document the rationale behind key architectural decisions
• Guide engineering teams and ensure implementation aligns with architectural vision
• Ensure implementation stays aligned with the architecture throughout all project iterations
• Design solutions involving integrations, automation, and data flows, including AI components where appropriate
• Ensure that AI usage is practical, controlled, and aligned with system constraints
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability under growing load and complexity
• Define measurable targets for quality attributes and track architecture fitness against them
• Create reference implementations and support teams in solving complex technical challenges
• Balance technical excellence with budget and schedule constraints, avoiding unnecessary over-engineering
• Build consensus with engineering teams and communicate architectural decisions constructively
• Ensure that solutions deliver measurable business value

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in software architecture and system design
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js
• Strong experience designing REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Deep understanding of architecture principles, design patterns, scalability, integrations, and risk management
• Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and parallel initiatives
• Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, AI-assisted development tools, and AI-related risks
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience guiding engineering teams and making architectural decisions
• Ability to work in environments with evolving or incomplete requirements
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level
