Prosperity Placement Solutions is conducting a confidential search for an innovative, entrepreneurial Software Architect to help launch and lead the development of a groundbreaking web-based technology platform.

The Software Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the development of a scalable web-based platform. This individual will serve as the technical visionary for the organization and will guide distributed engineering teams to successfully execute the product roadmap.

The ideal candidate is both highly technical and business-minded — someone who can communicate with stakeholders, define architecture, establish development standards, and lead global teams toward execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and architect a scalable, secure, cloud-based web platform
• Translate business concepts and product ideas into technical solutions
• Lead and direct development teams located in the US, India, and Colombia
• Define system architecture, infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and database strategy
• Establish coding standards, development workflows, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with leadership on long-term technology strategy and product evolution
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools
• Oversee software scalability, performance optimization, and cybersecurity best practices
• Participate in product planning, feature prioritization, and technical decision-making
• Help recruit and mentor future engineering talent as the company scales

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, software architecture, or full-stack development
• Proven experience architecting and launching web-based platforms or SaaS products
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience leading or coordinating offshore and distributed development teams
• Strong background in system design, APIs, databases, and scalable architecture
• Experience with modern development frameworks and technologies
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity and software best practices
• Ability to work in fast-paced, startup or entrepreneurial environments
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to execute independently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous startup or founder-level experience
• Experience building products from concept through launch
• Experience scaling platforms for high-growth environments
• Florida-based candidates strongly preferred
• Willingness to travel occasionally for strategic meetings and team collaboration
