  • As a Software Architect Embedded Development Ecosystem (m/f/div.) you will be the central technical hub that holds our entire portfolio of software development tools together.
  • You will work closely with the product owners and tech leads of our agile teams to ensure that our diverse development environments form a technologically coherent and future-proof unit.
  • Your expertise is crucial in shaping an overarching software architecture vision for our tools, defining interfaces, establishing technical standards and promoting the reuse of components.
  • You will lead technical discussions, make groundbreaking decisions, conduct architecture reviews and empower teams to develop innovative solutions.
  • Your contribution ensures the scalability, maintainability, and performance of our software tools and significantly shapes the future of our development processes.

Qualifications

  • Education: degree in computer science, technical computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Experience and expertise: broad technical knowledge as an experienced software architect for complex embedded systems/tools, proven robust architecture design/implementation, in-depth understanding of application tooling/firmware/hardware interactions, very good C/C++ skills, experience with model-based development Simulink/IEC 61131-3, experience in moderating technical discussions (agile teams), knowledge of architecture documentation/modelling tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect, SysML)
  • Personality and working style: strong analytical and conceptual skills with a high degree of empathy for the user; strong communication skills to convey technical requirements in an understandable way and act as an interface between users and developers; an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Language: very good German and English
